McFaddens

McFadden’s is a restaurant and bar located in Foggy Bottom.

Cost – $$

Service – C
It is a sports bar that caters to the University crowd. In other words the servers and bartenders have no real incentive to be polite or helpful because they aren’t going to get dick for tips. It is actually an opportunity if you aren’t cheap because if you tip them a few extra bucks they’ll take note.

Food – C
Never eaten there. I can’t imagine it would be any better or any worse than any other sports bar.

Decor – C
Nothing to write home about.

Feel – C
If you are white and in University or just recently graduated, this is a perfect place for you. If you are anything other than that then it may not be such a cool experience. McFaddens could easily be just another Georgetown bar. The only difference is its location. That being said, I think there are more cute girls at McFadden’s than some other sports bars in the area. Especially on a Friday or Saturday night.
