Cherry Weekend in DC

(Cherry Weekend via DC City Blog) – Cherry Weekend is a high-energy weekend dance benefit with many social events and an all-night dance party that is popular with locals and visitors alike. Start your engines as we go into overdrive with DJ Randy Bettis, the DJ/producer of the award wining Gay Days Tour. Randy has remixed some of the hottest artists and will be sure to please any dance floor with his signature hits. Joining him is local favorite dj Jason Horswill. Jason can be seen around town serving it up at many of DC’s most talked about events. Rounding out this evening is none other than Cobalt’s own fiesty Lena Lett, Cobalt’s Thursday Night Host.

FASHION An Evening of Fashion w/ Local Designer Andrew Nowell
Friday, April 1st / 2:00pm-8:00pm / Caramel Boutique / 1603 U Street, NW / No Cover

Mix & mingle with the beautiful people at CHERRY’s Evening of Fashion. Models, stylists, and personal trainers and DC’s own local Designer Andrew Nowell will be gathering for cocktails and conversation at one of DC’s favorite clothing boutiques, Caramel. While you there you can pick up or purchase your tickets and passes. A portion of the evening sales at Caramel will be donated to help support HIV/AIDS prevention and education initiatives in our nation’s Capitol.

The Cherry Fund, established in 1999, and located in Washington, DC, is an independent, all-volunteer 501(c) 3 Foundation. The sole purpose of the Fund is to raise funds for the HIV/AIDS service community. The Fund focuses on organizations combating the spread of HIV infection & AIDS through prevention, treatment, testing, and education.
