This film features captures the evolution of some of the biggest MCs of our time – their approach to live performances, how they got signed and dealt with labels, and how the industry really works. Interviewees include Kanye West, 50 Cent, Common, Russell Simmons, Nas, Rakim, KRS-One, Jay-Z. After the film, attendees are invited to participate in an audience discussion with some of the best on the D.C. hip hop scene.
