I went to the park last weekend and had a great time. I enjoyed the music from both DJs but preferred to stay on the second floor since the third and 4th were a bit crowded. Drink price was average for K St and it was a better crowd than I expected. I will most definitely return and bring friends.

If you like super-pretentious place, then perhaps The Park is your kind of place. Way too many babies (average age was about 21). Prefer more sophisticated places!

jiyan is right. The service was pretty good and the people - patrons and staff - were surprisingly friendly considering the air of pseudo-pretentiousness at the door. We're going in for dinner, is there really a need to have us wait behind the velvet rope until you find our names on the list? And then when the powerful guardians of the door did let us in, we had to do the same with the receptionist.

Fortunately, once past that little scene, we felt quite comfortable and welcome. But i find humor in these cultural rituals of the city - others may not have the patience.

Food was...passable

Well, someone told Caron Butler The Park @ 14th was good enough for his birthday party hosted by promiscuous pseudo celebrities, Kim Kardashian and Carmen Electra.

This YouTube of the party shows some scenes from the inside.

Never been to the place myself....but have seen the line plenty of times. If you're a guy and want to get in...give Eliot Spitzer's girls a call. They'll be glad to vouch for you.
