[...] DC city Blogs Review Below Lima is a restaurant and club located at 1401 K Street. It is not really a club that serves food nor is it a restaurant that turns into a club at night – it is actually a fairly balanced establishment that has the best of both worlds. As you can tell (or can’t tell) from the name, there is an infusion of Latin flavor in the venue – mostly evident in the menu. [...]

Okay, Lima is getting packed on Saturday nights. We arrived about 11:30 and a line was already starting to form outside. We got in and by 12:30 all three floors (including the patio) were completely packed. I have to admit the crowd is a bit bridge-and-tunnel on Saturday nights but if you want a blowout venue Lima is still a pretty good bet on Saturday nights. Just don't go expecting a relaxed, chill atmosphere.

[...] Lima - Personally, Lima is my favorite club in DC. The venue attracts a culturally and ethnically diverse mix of folks who put some effort into their appearance (not always a guarantee in DC). It has a little bit of everything - a restaurant for pre-dinner drinks and dinner, an outdoor patio and indoor bar for socializing and relaxing and a downstairs club area with table service and a dance floor. The design is top-rate and for one of the top clubs in DC it boasts great service both inside and out. [...]

[...] Lima - Lima’s popularity may have been waning during the cold months but it should experience a resurgence with people coming to take advantage of the patio (one of the only club venues on K Street that offers an outdoor lounge). The crowd is one of the most internationally diverse in the DC area and each section of the club offers a slightly unique, but fun time. [...]
