I don’t want to go to a club where just anyone can get in. This reduces the chance of the creepy, inappropriate and corny men harassing the women all night. It seems to focus on “some” of the wealthy 20/30 something’s of the area. Josephine’s is adorned with a stunning and unique decor... I believe it is by far the best looking nightclub in DC. The door can be a hassle for some people, but done so purposely to keep out and put off crowds they don’t want to have there. And also to maintain the status and exclusivity it has had since it opened. For the most part it has the classiest crowd in DC. The reason to go to Josephine’s is because of the exclusive status. Most of the crowd is comprised of students around this area and music is geared towards the same preppy white kid crows - silly techno and whack hip hop mixins. Knowing the owner personally I've accompanied him twice, and I knew it would like this since I knew this taste. Park is hands down 10 times more classy, more attractive, more professional and well better in any way. It is a shame really... As far as front door... They get paid minimum wage so of course they are not going to be qualified. Both times I wore sneakers worth more than their entire attire - and got in only dropping the owners name... This is dumb. And busy? What line? Been there twice... The place is somewhat empty... And once again it's awkward white kids that can't dance. If you are a self respecting... And pref. Not some annoying white girl - female come visit me at park lol This is a club for young adults/kids.
