In light of the 10 year anniversary of September 11, 2001, let us take a moment to reflect on and honor the memory of those who were lost in the attacks. Victims of Flight 93–the flight that went down in a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania– and their surviving families have been an often overlooked part of this tragedy.
As pointed out by Bill Clinton in a speech on September 11, 2011, the Flight 93 National Memorial is facing a severe budget shortfall. The Flight 93 Memorial Concert is seeking to honor the memory of those who gave their lives to thwart terrorism by benefitting the Memorial.
The Flight 93 Memorial Concert will be feature musical performances that celebrate the American spirit by world renowned soprano Alessandra Marc and IBIS Chamber Music Society in one of the region’s most beautiful buildings.
