7/18 – Fashion Fights Poverty invites guests to be fashionably responsible by taking a second look at quality second hand clothing, shoes and accessories during its first ever “fashion swap” from 12 pm – 5 pm at the Renaissance Hotel. Attendees can participate in the following ways: Consign – Bring your former favorites for consignment with Current Boutique or choose to donate their consignment to Fashion Fights Poverty; Swap – Attendees will leave their unwanted articles on tables and at a determined time, attendees can dive in and find their next “new to them” item; or Donate – Guests can donate items to Covenant House Washington, an organization that provides shelter and protection, food, clothing, counseling and job training to Washington, DC youth.
